Safety Committee

No update

Hill Neighborhood Center/Preservation

Very positive returns on center sales
St. Ambrose Signs – sales will be routed back to St. Ambrose
Several services, including Mary Ann’s services generating donations
Big thanks to Cara Garavaglia on the lemonade stand and $300+ raised!
Still working through electrical, HVAC, plumbing items at the center
Statue placement has been put in front of Vollmer and Harry, it is making progress; currently working through details on placement (height, positioning, etc)
Encroachment permit in work and working through the details; evaluating who needs to carry liability insurance for the space
Lynn Marie taking vacation last weekend of August
Have located the mold and sample for the immigrant statue for selling at the center

Beautification Committee

Looking at options to run the hydrant painting fundraiser on the website
HBA is having an open air market on Oct 1 at Shaw School in conjunction with Green Shag, 8:00-1:100, proceeds will go to updating the Hill sign at Columbia and to the students of Shaw School

Upcoming Events

Sponsors are coming in for both Giro and Italian Heritage
Grape stomping, bounce houses, merchandise is being discussed for the Italian Heritage Festival
Giro will have a VIP tent that will have tickets going to primary sponsors, plan to include food and drinks
Will be starting a volunteer list, covering set up and break down for the Giro as well as different tent workers
