Pete’s Italian Baking Co.

We are a family bakery, passed down through generations, beginning with Bommarito’s Bakery in downtown St. Louis in 1947. Originally focused on baking bread for restaurants and local markets, the business later expanded to selling fresh bread directly to the community. Now in its third generation, Pete’s Italian Baking Company opened in 2021 at 1711 Hereford street, on The Hill, continuing the family tradition of baking for businesses, restaurants, and local markets. We take pride in carrying on this legacy, honoring the determination and courage of our grandparents.
